Melody walked with her flip flops in her hand and the waves crashed in the ocean and swept up to her feet. She loved coming to the beach, it was so relaxing and calming. Something about the air, water and wind did something to her that she couldn't explain. She loved the whole sunset part and liked to go on a blanket and watch it go down and the moon rise in its place. She loved seeing the stars dance on the waves and blanket of water.

Brian was on duty and he walked along the beach line. He was wearng his white shirt since it was warm outside and there isn't need for his navy jumper. Brian smiled and saw the children playing and couples walking along the coastline was really nice as he loved watching people behaving on the beach. He loved his job sometimes especially when the people repect his authorty and no crime. He rocked back and forth until he saw someone and he walked towards her. Hello there. He said to her friendly.

Melody walked and seen a man walk up to her and said hello. [purple]Hello.[/purple] she said to him. She looked down at the ground and seen a sand crab go into the sand. [purple]How are you?[/purple] she asked even though she didn't know who he was.

Brian smiled as she seemed very nice and he liked that. Even though people hated him after all he was a police officer. He hated arresting people but sometimes he didn't have the choice and he would give them a second chance as well, which was normally thrown back in his face. Brian yawned and streached his arms out and looked at her. Fine thank you. Been busy working a 8hr shift. I am just finishing in like two hours. How are you feeling? He asked her as he watched the beach carefully for trouble markers.

Melody looked him over, [purple]Oh you a cop? Nice, long hours do suck though.[/purple] she said smiling. [purple]I'm doing ok, just walking the beach trying to clear my mind of a few things.[/purple] she said smiling at him. She loved the warm sand on the bottom of her bare feet. [purple]So you finishing up your shift out here in the beach.[/purple] she asked him.

Brian looked at her once more. The beach was pretty quite today and hopefully he would be able to get off early and have a relaxing bath. His muscles were aching him from the running he have done perviously. Brian hated when people run away. He wasn't the type to beat the crap out of people. He wanted to help them in anyway he can. He streached his arms out as he spoke to the lady again. Yea, my final hours on the beach. I mainly come here to relax as it normally pretty quite and it gives my muscles a rest from the running he chuckled at her with the joke line. He liked her very much, but he just backoff with all of that. The name if Brian by the way. Officer Brian Littrell he chuckled again and offered his hand to be shaken by her. He then watched the sun as it was rare to see the sun in Wales as it normally rain and very cold at this time of year. But Brian brushed this way and waited for the lady to answer him.

Melody laughed, [purple]Oh working out too much or catching running criminals?[/purple] she said smiling. She shook his hand, [purple]Hi Brian, name’s Melody Storme. Nice to meet you.[/purple] she said and smiled once more. She looked to where he looked, [purple]Wow, the sun’s actually out. Don’t see it like that every year.[/purple] she said flipping her hair. Melody looked down and seen that her sandals were still in her hand, so she bent down to put them on and looked back up at Brian.

Brian laughed at her reply come with the job when you have suspects running away from you all the time. Though half the time I wished they don't run as I am not a bad guy. I am friendly, I don't believe in violence. I would give people a second chance and if they do it again, then I would arrest and charge them. He explain it to her as the ocean flowed in and out. Sorry, don't mean to go on about my line of work. He gently sat down on the rock nearer by as the weather was nice and warmth for Fall anyway. He looked at the girl again which called herself Melody and it was nice. Well Sunshine is very rare for Wales. It's normally raining this time of year, you are lucky to have the sunshine. I hate the rain as it's depressing sometimes. Brian was hitting on her but he was playing it very slow as he didn't want to rush into anything that's for sure. He checked the time as he would have to run into the station to get his normal clothes and out of his uniform clothes. Brian yawned as he was getting tired as he have been up since five am that's for sure. Soons he off duty he would be going home for a shower and go bed.

Melody laughed, [purple]Well that’s good that you don’t do violence, I know too many cops who have to beat down the suspect when it’s not necessary you know.[/purple] she said shaking her head. [purple]Oh I don’t mind, I like listening to everything.[/purple] she said smiling. Melody sat on the rock next to him, [purple]Yeah rain could be depressing, but it can also be beautiful. Just watching the rain fall and see it hitting the water, the sound is like a symphony of splatter here and there, plus the wind makes it swirl about.[/purple] she said imagining it into her mind. Melody then smiled and blushed, [purple]I’m sorry, me talking nonsense again.[/purple] she said smiling. She seen him yawn, [purple]Tired ay?[/purple]

Brian smiled and this made him feel alot better. My cousin is in the force as well. So being police officers are in our family. Also I like to thank you for chatting with me. I don't have many people talking to me since I am the police. They don't give me the chance to reveal the real me. Sure I am officer of the law and it's my job to arrest people. But I am also like helping people, which some don't relieased. Also out of my uniform I am a different person. This was showing Mel he was like a normal person that loves to have fun as well. His heart was racing more and more when she spoke back to him. Brian didn't know how much longer he could hold the feeling anymore so he would tell her soon. He heard her talking about the rain and he nodded. Yea, but here it rains all the time. I hate working in the rain. I used to like it but not so much now. He chuckled slightly and looked at her again. He nodded his head. Been up since 5am he chuckled again. He then couldn't hold the feeling anymore and went ahead and told her. Melody... I have feelings for you. I just have to tell you as you have the right to know. But I understand if you don't like me in the way. He smiled and waited for her reply back.

Melody nodded her head, [purple]Yeah so true, people just need to remember, everyone is a person, and they just have to do their jobs.[/purple] she said smiling. [purple]I love the rain, but don’t get me wrong, I love the sun too.[/purple] she said. Melody was a little taken back by what he said. She shuffled her feet and then looked back up at him, [purple]Wow talk about first impressions. Yeah I like you too, but I don’t want to rush into anything. We can go out a couple times as friends and then we’ll see where it leads.[/purple] she said smiling and tossing her hair.

Brian smiled again. Believe it or not I was nearly killed once. I was gunned down by a supect and it as left a scar across my chest. I was lucky to survie it. If my comras didn't come when they did I would have been killed. The person was shot by my collegues and killed, but they had no choice. Well I am glad to surive now as I wouldn't have met you. He couldn't believe he was being so open towards her. But he feels he have to so she could see and know the real him. He truly love her to bits and he nodded. That sounds great to me. How about meeting Tuesday afternoon? This is the only day I have off since I am working most weeks. He asked still smiling had at her, as she didn't blow him off. Brian hoped she was the one he have been waiting for all this time.

[purple]Wow were you really? I'd be too afraid to be in the police force, too much danger.[/purple] Melody laughed a little. She sighed and smiled, [purple]Tuesday? Lets see I get off of work at 5 so my lunch will be around 12 or so. Is around noon fine with you?[/purple] she asked smiling up at him. After looking at him, he was a really good looking guy, he does look a little older than she, but she don't mind.
